TO STUDY THE CLINICAL PROFILE OF VERNAL KERATOCONJUNCTIVITIS IN A TERTIARY HEALTH CARE CENTRE (VINDHYA REGION MP)

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical profile of VKC in tertiary health care centre. Methods: This prospective observational longitudinal single-Centre study, included 200 eyes 100 patients with age group 05-20 years diagnosedVKC.Subjects who satisfy all inclusion criteria and meet no exclusion were study. Each patient was thoroughly examined slit lamp. Results: In 11-15 yr majority (49%) followed by 16-20 (26%) while 25% cases belong to 5-10 yr. The study 76 males 24 females. history allergic disorder found 31 cases. Chronic stage common present palpebral type maximum Itching 100% other major symptom redness, watering,photophobia ropy discharge. Conclusion: is disease childhood, are more affected. VINDHYA REGION part our country, mixed most form disease.
